SILLY LITTLE GOOSE by Nancy Tafuri.  Poor Goose!  She wants to make her nest but picking the right spot can be difficult.  Ages:  1-5.

GHOST  CAT by Mark Abley.   Evocative illustrations neatly match the emotional depth of the author’s text to provide a tender and moving story of love and resilience. 
Canadian.  Ages:  3-5.

MY GUY by Sarah Weeks.  When Guy’s mother announces that she is going to marry the father of his despised enemy Lana, Guy realizes that he must join forces with Lana to stop the event.  Ages:  8-12.

I PROMISE by Robin Jones Gunn.  A compelling conclusion to the Christy Miller story in the CHRISTY AND TODD: THE COLLEGE YEARS series.  Ages:  14-18.

THE BEST BOOK OF BIG CATS by Christiane Gunzi.  Informative text and attractive illustrations provide the young reader with a fascinating insight into the stealthy world of big cats.  Ages:  5-8.

ALMANAC OF ALIEN ENCOUNTERS by Eric Elfman.  An historical overview of alien encounters from the 9th century to date.  Includes both the skeptics’ and the true believers’ points of view.  Ages:  9-13.

CHINA’S SON by Da Chen.  Born in China in 1962, Da Chen provides a candid memoir about growing up during the Chinese Cultural Revolution.  Ages:  12+.

IT’S A DOG’S LIFE, SNOOPY by Charles M. Schultz.  An all-new collection of full-colour comic strips of the world’s favourite boy and his dog.  All ages.
 

GAMES TO PLAY WITH BABIES by Jackie Silberg.  This indispensable book shows you how to build important developmental skills while enjoying 225 fun-filled games with your baby.

THE CORE PROGRAM by Peggy W. Brill.  A fitness program for women that focuses on the core body muscles, which are the key to strength, flexibility, energy, and total well-being.
