Two Search options available for you!!!

“SEARCH PROVINCE” will use the encore catalogue, to search the entire provincial circulation database.

“SEARCH CHINOOK” will search Chinook Regional locations first.

Encore will search all the libraries in the province and has a fun Amazon-like feel. If you enjoy Facebook and other social networking sites try Encore!

Classic catalogue is set to search Chinook locations first but can be changed to search other locations.

The Classic version is for those who know what they want and care about what’s at local branches.

We’d like to invite you to stop by your local branch and celebrate by getting a new Chinook/SILS library card. When you do visit please bring along your identification as we will want to update your card registration information.

The new system is provincial, so it’s important to ensure that all of your information uniquely identifies you. Please bring one piece of identification which shows your address like a personal cheque, letter with cancelled postage, a driver’s license or utility bill or other government correspondence.

As well, please bring another piece of identification that proves your identify like a driver’s license, passport, student card, military ID, Government ID card, Landed immigrant card, or Aboriginal ID (Treaty Card/Metis Card). Parental or Guardian identification will be used for juvenile patron cards.
