 WHERE I LIVE by Frances Wolfe.  
The author captures the sights and sounds of life on the Nova Scotia seashore in 16 outstanding illustrations.  Canadian.  Ages:  3-6.

COMES A WIND by Linda Arms White.  
Two brothers can’t resist trying to outdo each other in this wild Western tale of sibling rivalry.  Ages:  4-8.

LITTLE WOLF’S BOOK OF BADNESS by Ian Whybrow.  
Little Wolf has been behaving too courteously, so his parents send him to his uncle’s Big Bad Wolf school to learn to be a proper wolf.  Ages:  8-12.

BLUEPRINT by Charlotte Kerner.  
When her mother dies, Siri Selli, one of the first human clones, writes a bitter memoir of her childhood as the daughter of a famous and self-absorbed concert pianist and composer.  Ages:  14+.

LUCKY 13 by Michael Street.  
With over sixty games and variations, this is the essential solitaire card handbook for kids.  Ages: 10+.

BORN TO BE A COWGIRL by Candace Savage.  
Daughters of families settling the West were raised on the range with an independent spirit and horses in their blood.  Pictures and text provide an entertaining portrait of such independent women as Calamity Jane and Annie Oakley.  Saskatchewan author.  Ages:  8-12.

BUILDING CANADA by Bonnie Shemie.  
The author has created a beautiful and informative volume that defines Canada’s history and geography through its buildings. The book also looks at the importance of modern building materials, restorative efforts, and city planning.  Canadian.  Ages:  9+.

PIONEER GIRL by Maryanne Caswell.  
The book is composed of letters that fourteen-year-old Maryanne sent to her grandmother as she moved from Ontario in 1887 to Clark’s Crossing near present day city of Saskatoon.  Canadian.  Ages:  10+.

THE MONEY ADVISER  by Bruce Cohen with Alyssa Diamond.  
Now in its third revised edition, the book is a classic Canadian compendium to successful Financial planning.  Canadian.

LANDSCAPING 1-2-3 by Jo Kellum and The Home Depot.  
All the plant selection guides, projects, and landscaping information in the book are specific to Zones 2, 3, and 4.

QUEST FOR ADVENTURE by Chris Bonington.  
In this collection of exhilarating adventures (1950-200), the author examines what has inspired men and women to accomplish remarkable feats.

BEYOND THE VALLEY OF FLOWERS by Veronica Eddy Brock.
